OrganiCup Menstrual Cup
I’m so excited to include OrganiCup menstrual cups in the store.
I believe these are a complete GAME CHANGER for women and the best thing to have happened to periods in a long time. Whilst I can't take the pain out of periods these really do help.
It may seem an expensive purchase for something your possibly unsure of, however within a matter of months you will have covered your costs and be saving money which can be better spent. If you're anything like me it will go towards the womb monster chocolate fund.
The OrganiCup is a simple, healthy and green alternative to standard period products. They can be worn for up to 12 hours at a time day and night. They are designed with comfort in mind and once inserted you won't feel a thing. Unlike pads and tampons they collect secretions as opposed to absorbing them thus avoiding any irritation and dryness as well as keeping your natural pH-balance intact. Once fitted correctly they are leak free and can be used during all sporting activities including swimming and couch surfing (which is known to be my chosen activity at that time),
They are AllergyCertified (no BPS's, latex or dyes), cruelty free, Vegan Friendly and compliant with relevant legislation.
Size A - Suitable for women who have not given birth

Each box contains full instructions on how to use the cup but there are some guidelines here.
Before first use ensure the cup is sterilized. This can be done my placing the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
When using WASH your hands and the cup with mild soap. FOLD the cup for easy insertion. RELAX and find a suitable positon for insertion. INSERT and RELEASE the cup. Once inserted the cup will pop back to its normal shape and create a light suction to stay in place. You may feel this happen a few moments later.
If you're using for the first time the stem may be a bit long. Each body is different and you may need to trip the end to fit you. DO NOT do this whilst the cup is still inserted. Once removed trim a little bit and repeat until you get to the length that suits you. Remember just trim a small amount and retry it, if you trim too much you can't put it back on!
To remove the cup WASH your hands. RELAX and find a suitable position. REMOVE by gently pulling on the stem and using your muscles to push down. There will be some light suction on the cup but this should be released if you gently squeeze the base. EMPTY and WASH the cup. Then RE-INSERT or STORE if your period has finished. At the end of each period sterilise the cup again either by placing in boiling water for 3-5 minutes or using a suitable sterilising solution.
