Citric acid is a natural product which can be used all around the household. This one is food grade and is a weak, natural acid. It can be used for cleaning and is particularly great for removing limescale.

Directions:
Descaling. Dilute 1 or 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 1 litre of cold water and use this solution to descale kettles, coffee machines, taps, showerheads and anywhere limescale is prevalent. Rinse with clear water afterwards.
Washing machine: Put 6 to 8 tablespoons of acid in the drum and run on a hot cycle (90°C)
Toilet: Pour half the bag (375g) into your toilet bowl and leave overnight.
General household cleaning: Use citric acid as an alternative to vinegar for general household cleaning.
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place in a closed container.
